*Info and Updates*

It’s been a while since we’ve posted our “Order of Operations” (for lack of a better term)… time for a few updates and to welcome new people to the family! In the beginning we’d say bear with us while we work on streamlining the process; here we are 5 years later, still streamlinin’ πŸ™ƒ

Catering Services

A few upgrades have been made to our website, such as generalized pricing and a more comprehensive “Menu”. Hallelujah πŸ™Œ it has been a long time coming. This can now be your first stop in planning an event or even a lunch meeting. I’ve loved getting to “suggest” menus for such things in the past, just getting stretched a bit thin these days so I needed a better way to convey the same information frequently.

So, once you swing by the website (www.hummingbirdhousecatering.com) and find a menu idea or two based on your tastes and budget, just reach out to us with your date. we’ll check availability and get ya on the books. This will save YOU from waiting on ME for those ideas and quotes πŸ˜‰

Homemade Here Menus

Menus are generally released Sunday evening; ordering instructions and deadlines are usually the same and are listed on each menu. Holidays and particularly busy weeks may affect the schedule a bit.

If you’ve listened to our voicemail lately you’ll hear that it’s again, more rambling, just shy of a “press one to speak to a representative” situation πŸ˜…

A few notes to highlight there: If you’re calling to place a Homemade Here order: please leave your name, order, and prefered pick-up day in the voicemail; we’ll send you a text message to confirm that we’ve received it. If it is AFTER the ordering deadline listed on the menu, please just check back for extras on Thursday during pickup time instead. We have to try to stick to our schedule to make sure that we have the necessary time and ingredients to prepare the orders received.

Inquiries

Speaking of a schedule ⌚️ I’ve developed one for just about everything these days… Including responding to inquires! If you need to get in touch with us about something relatively “urgent”, as in it’s happening within the week, the best method is texting if possible. We can glance at/prioritize those a little more quickly and respond accordingly. If your need is farther in the future, voicemail or email are great options and those are returned on Mondays and Fridays as time allows.

Work-Life Balance

Last but not least… while I have the utmost appreciation for my customers, I have to be able to leave work at work out of respect of myself and my family. *Insert snickers from other small business owners here* because if ya know ya know πŸ˜†

My way of “clocking out” includes leaving the work phone OFF after-hours, and NOT accepting business inquiries or business related friend requests through my personal social media. All contact information is readily available on the HH Facebook page and the website if you need us. We really do look forward to hearing from you ❀

Thank you all for your continued support, helping us to continue to make this work, AND for reading alllll the way through this novel entitled “There’s a Method to my Madness. Maybe.” πŸ™ˆπŸ˜œ
